Would you read on? What do you think?
I don’t know what scared me more ,the silent stranger looming over me or that I have no power left to run. The winter baron park was blanketed with snow and deep haze which misted around the dead trees. I am scared now, hiding behind a thorny bush wasn’t the best place to hide from the skilled tracker only a few meters away. His deep, soulless eyes scanned around the misty haze for any sign of me. My breathing is soft, but I begin to weaken. Lying in the mud that caked my soft blonde hair. Hell! I had no clue how I was getting out of here. The stranger inches forward slowly, each second he moves closer becomes more and more agonising. Now only a metre away, he bends down to his knees and begins to drag one of its black fingers through the mud. A shudder strikes up my spine as he lifts his head. Does he know I am so close? I tried to push the thought from my already terrified mind but each time I do it inches back. When he lifts his muddy hand he only just makes it half way up when he freezes. He turns his face towards the area to which I hide. My breath slowly increases and my heart begins to beat faster as the wicked smile I have seen so many times stretches across his face. My eyes slowly lock with his and I know for that split second I know that my cover is blown.
