The Witcher 2 Paul.dll problem...?

So I got the Witcher 2 and my Paul.dll file is missing. I found a new one on the internet, and it is a false-positive thing meaning antivirus programs think it is a trojan and remove it. It keeps happening. Thing is, I do not have an Antivirus installed and the one that XP came with is out of date. How do I get rid of the Symantec antivirus?
