HELP! IN NEED OF SAD STORY TIPS!!?
Wow. That is a very inspiring (and yes, sad) sentence to end a dream (or a story) with! I don't see why your propensity for fantasy-writing should hamper your ability to write Mr. Baron's tale, though. You could make it a sad fantasy story. Perhaps Mr. Baron was married to a woman (or had a child, or something like that) who was very imaginative, and Mr. Baron was not really prone to fantasies, but he tolerated the stories of magic and mystique that his wife/daughter/whatever invented; oftentimes they would pull him into the stories, and he would find that he quite enjoyed pretending. But eventually, something happens and he loses his patience, and insists that all this pretending is pointless and immature. And then maybe the wife/child will die, and... OK, I forgot where I was even going with this. Sorry. I guess it was more of an idea than a tip, anyway. (Sometimes the two are difficult to distinguish, though.) :/ I hope this pathetic answer helped at least a little! Any fantasy story with that ending sounds like it would be marvelous. :) I wish you luck.
